Wow! At the start of summer we took our 6th year trip to Kenya to work with the schools.
We took our second group of interns and it was amazing. we hooked up with FIRST LEGO League of Kenya and LAUNCH is running a training camp for teachers and volunteers this September in Nairobi. LAUNCH is going to be running the second annual FLL tournament next March.
We also started working with a small Massai comunity south of Nairobi in a very remote area that has been hit hard with drought. We are starting a fundraising drive to dig a Bore Hole (Well) to get water to the families there. There is more to come but for now we are focused on WATER.
After coming back we put on 3 local camps that were super exciting and two camps for the Tulalip Tribe in Washington. Crazy amazing people. Our hearts are knit together.
FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST LEGO League are launching this week and next. Wow wow wow.
